Appointments

Appointments should be booked in advance by contacting our receptionists. Appointments are available daily Monday-Friday between 9.00am-12.30pm and 2.00pm-5.30pm. A separate appointment is required for each person to be seen. The Treatment Room also operates on an appointment system, with a lunchtime closing between 1.00pm and 2.00pm.

Owing to the high demand for appointments, if you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel it by ringing our reception staff, preferably giving at least 24 hours notice. The appointment can then be offered to other patients.

Urgent Appointments

If you request an urgent appointment with a doctor, our reception staff will need to obtain some details of the problem to enable the doctor to assess the urgency of the appointment. It is not possible to request to see a particular doctor for an emergency appointment.

The Surgery will be closed on Monday 1st April 2013 and Tuesday 2nd April 2013 for Easter.

Home Visits

doctor's bag A request for a home visit should be made before 10.00am. Home visits are made on the basis of clinical need, for patients who are too frail to come to the surgery..

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.

Test results can be obtained by contacting the surgery 028 91816858 during the above times. Our practice administrator will pass on the results as indicated by the doctor.
